Part Time Psychology Degrees

Many reputable and nationally accredited universities in the United States offer part-time psychology programs. Some schools offer a portion of the program online with two-week intensive residencies every term. Plan a path through the coursework carefully, as nearly every school has a cap of five to seven years to complete the program whether attending part- or full-time. The Institute for Transpersonal Psychology, University of Indianapolis and the prestigious University of Wisconsin, Madison all offer part-time psychology programs.
  1. Institute of Transpersonal Psychology

    • The Institute of Transpersonal Psychology (ITP) offers low residency master of arts programs in the counseling psychology and spiritual guidance tracks. Each program focuses on a different facet of transpersonal psychology. The counseling psychology track consists of 45.5 online credits and 29 credits requiring two week-long intensives on campus. The Spiritual Guidance track requires six weekend-long residential intensives per year plus a one-week opening seminar to start off each year. ITP is accredited by the Western Association of Schools and Colleges.
