Through the Looking Glass is a center that provides support and services to immediate family of persons with disabilities or a serious medical issue.
In 2010 the scholarship program provided 10 high school seniors and college students under age 21 with $1,000 awards. Information for following years is available on the group's website each January. At least one parent must have a disability in order to qualify.

Dependent children of paralyzed veterans must be under age 24 and unmarried to qualify for this scholarship. Since its beginning in 1986, the group has given out more than $300,000 to qualified applicants. The scholarship was founded by The Paralyzed Veterans of America and parents of applicants must be members for their children to qualify.

Children of people with MS are eligible for this scholarship. The recipient must be a high school senior attending a post-graduate institution for the first time in order to qualify. Nearly $1 million was awarded in 2010 and the fund continues to grow. Except for extreme circumstances, the maximum scholarship per year is $3,000 per student.
Recipients of the award are notified in late spring. Applications are accepted from October 1 through January 14 of the academic year.
