MacMillan Grants

MacMillan grants are offered by the Whitney and Betty MacMillan Center for International and Area Studies at Yale University, called the MacMillan Center for short. The center offers fellowships, grants and funding opportunities to Yale graduate students, undergraduate students and professors who are contributing to the field of international relations.
  1. The MacMillan Center Dissertation Research Grants

    • The MacMillan Center offers several grant programs, including dissertation research grants for graduate and professional students. Dissertation research grants fund doctoral students who are doing research outside of the United States for their dissertation projects. The grants are awarded in amounts ranging between $2,000 and $15,000.

    MacMillan Center Undergraduate Grants

    • The MacMillan Center offers undergraduate grant programs in the shape of fellowships. Programs include the International Public Service Fellowships and the Dreyfus Fellowships and range between $3,000 and $10,000 in value. They are awarded to international studies majors or relatives of U.S. foreign service officers.

    MacMillan Center Faculty Research Grants

    • Yale faculty members who are interested in performing research in the field of international relations can also apply for research grants from the MacMillan Center. The awards can reach up to $15,000 per research project.
