Grants for Veterans' Educational Program Materials

The Veterans Affairs Administration offers many education funding programs and resources for veterans and their families. There are pamphlets, brochures, books and online articles outlining the various aspects of what types of educational grants are available.
  1. DEA Program

    • The Dependents' Educational Assistance (DEA) VA Pamphlet 22-73-3/2010 explains the educational training program funding created for the dependents and survivors of disabled veterans or those who died while serving the country in the line of duty.

    Financial Aid 2010-2012

    • The "Financial Aid for Veterans, Military Personnel and Their Families" guide book was developed to assist in navigating the many grants, fellowships and scholarships available to veterans, military personnel and their families.

    VEAP

    • The Veterans Educational Assistance Program (VEAP) program materials are offered for veterans who contributed to the VEAP during active duty and includes funds for degree and certification programs, apprenticeships, courses and flight training.

    Post 9/11 GI Bill

    • Veteran military personnel are awarded tuition fees with funding for housing and a $1,000 annual stipend for educational books and materials through the Post 9/11 GI Bill. For those who qualify, there is also an extra rural benefit.

    NMCRS

    • Materials for information about the Navy-Marine Corps Relief Society (NMCRS) educational funding program describes how those eligible may apply for scholarships and are solely based upon financial need.
