Penn State offers a dozen scholarships for students enrolled in their well-recognized Biological Engineering or Agricultural Program. The criteria for consideration for the Agricultural and Biological Engineering Department Scholarship is that the student be a full-time undergraduate and majoring in either Biological Engineering or Agriculture. The student must have a fifth-semester standing or higher and must have shown strong academic achievement.

The University of Missouri awards scholarships to nearly half of its students enrolled in their Biological Engineering Program. The scholarships are given as donations from Alumni. Some of them are named after the donors and some are not. The amounts of the scholarships vary. Students are awarded scholarships by applying through University of Missouri Financial Aid Website.

Texas A&M University offers various scholarships for students enrolled in the department of Agriculture and Biological Engineering. The most recent scholarship they have offered to their roster of scholarships was established by Mrs. Vivian P. Follett. It was created in memory of her husband, George H. Follett, Agricultural Engineering graduate from the class of 1931. This scholarship will be awarded to about half of the incoming freshmen each year.
