Education Grants for Maryland Residents

For many, college remains just a dream due to lack of funds. In Maryland, various grants are available for residents to help make that dream a reality if they attend state schools. The majority of grants factor in financial need, along with other eligibility requirements.
  1. Montgomery College Institute Grant

    • High school students enrolled at either Gaithersburg or Wootton High School in Montgomery County, Maryland, are eligible to apply for this grant. This grant pertains to Montgomery College's early-placement program, which allows qualified juniors and seniors in high school to take college-level courses and receive college credit. The credits may be toward a degree at Montgomery College or may be transferred to another institution of higher learning. Depending on financial needs, the grant pays for all tuition along with a book allowance.
