    Alternative Medicine College of Canada

    • The Alternative Medicine College of Canada (AMCC) offers several different career tracks, including naturopathy, homeopathy and bioenergetics, for students interested in alternative medicine. This is an accredited distance-learning program that allows students to fit classes into any lifestyle or life situation. Three levels of study form the foundation of the program: natural health consultant, natural health educator and natural health technician. Once students have completed these three levels, they may choose to continue with a chosen specialty. The school offers two specialty levels with three different focuses. For example, a student may wish to complete specialty level 4 as a naturopath practitioner, and then continue to level 5 and become a naturopathic doctor.

    PCU College of Holistic Medicine

    • PCU offers students the opportunity to study in one of five different Chinese medicine programs: traditional Chinese medicine practitioner, doctor of traditional Chinese medicine, acupuncture, Tuina/Anmo (Chinese massage training) and spa practitioner. PCU has accreditation from the Career Training Institutions Agency of British Columbia; students are eligible to receive financial assistance for their studies.
