Humber College, in Toronto, Ontario, is a member of Polytechnics Canada, an alliance of nine leading publicly funded, research-intensive institutes and colleges of technology in the key economic regions of Canada. Humber College has graduate programs that lead to a post-graduate certificate of completion.
  1. Global Business Management

    • Humber College offers a global business management graduate certificate program that takes four semesters and begins in January, May and September of each year. The program is designed for students who have graduated from any discipline to prepare them to work as managers in domestic and international business. The program consists of 26 courses including project management, fundamentals of marketing, managerial accounting and finance and quantity methods for management. Students also take international trade law, global business field placement, global business leadership skills and integrated marketing communications.

    Web Development

    • Humber College has a web development program that leads to a graduate certificate. This program emphasizes web development for a variety of environments, such as content management and database-driven programming. The program is designed to be completed in three semesters and begins in September every year. Students must take 16 courses to graduate; courses include web application development, database design and development, security and quality assurance and web information architecture. Other courses include usability and accessibility, portfolio development and trends in web development.

    Wireless Telecommunications

    • Humber College offers a graduate certificate in wireless telecommunications that prepares students who have graduated in computer engineering, electronics, telecommunications and physics to work on wireless communications. The program is designed to last for two semesters and begins in September and January of every year. Students take 10 courses including applied electromagnetics, principles of project management, cellular and PCs technology and telecommunication systems. Students also take wireless data networks, microwave and fiber optics, wireless data networks and VOIP and broadband communications.
