List of MBA Colleges in Georgia

Several Georgia business schools are home to nationally ranked MBA programs. Emory University, Georgia Tech and the University of Georgia's full-time programs all made the top 60 in "U.S. News and World Report's" 2010 rankings. Georgia State's part-time program is also rated highly. With in-state tuition below $10,000 at the public universities, Georgia's public-school MBA programs are also relative bargains when compared to private business schools.

    • "U.S. News and World Report," in its 2010 business school rankings, rated Emory University's Goizueta School of Business the nation's 27th best business school. With 375 full-time business students, Goizueta boasts Georgia's largest full-time enrollment. Annual tuition is $41,000 for the full-time program. Part-timers pay $23,400. The class of 2001 had an average GPA of 3.3, an average GMAT score of 676 and an average of five years work experience. By graduation, 50.9 percent of graduates had full-time employment.

    Georgia State University

    • "U.S. News & World Report," in its 2010 rankings, rated Georgia State University's J. Mack Robinson College of Business's part-time program in the top 10 percent of part-time MBA programs. The fall 2009 class had an average undergraduate GPA of 3.3 and averaged seven years of work experience, according to the university website. In-state, full-time students pay $8,112 per year, part-timers pay $338 per credit; out-of-state, full-time students pay $28,464 per year, part-timers, $1,186 per credit.

    Georgia Institute of Technology

    • Know primarily as an engineering school, Georgia Tech also has Georgia's highest rated business school, according to "U.S. News & World Report." The magazine rated the business school 26th best overall and the 10th best public business school in its 2010 rankings. In-state tuition for the full-time program is $8,938 per year and $32,106 for out-of-state students. The 2009 entering class had an average GMAT score of 784, an average undergraduate GPA of 3.32 and averaged four years of work experience. By graduation, 71.2 percent of graduates had full-time employment.

    University of Georgia

    • The Terry College of Business at the University of Georgia in Athens earned the 59th spot on "U.S. News & World Report's" 2010 list. In-state students pay $9,730 annually for the full-time program, while out-of-state students pay $27,840. Thirty-eight percent of MBAs had full-time employment by graduation. The business college has satellite campuses in Gwinnett County, Georgia; Griffin, Georgia; and Atlanta, Georgia, and a total enrollment of 576 full- and part-time students.
