LPN to RN Schools in Michigan With No Waiting List

LPNs qualify for the NCLEX registered nurse (RN) exam by earning an associate's degree (ADN) or bachelor's degree (BSN) in nursing. Many Michigan schools offer an accelerated curriculum for LPNs, often called bridge programs, allowing students to complete their degree in less than two years. Nation-wide, registered nurses earned a median annual salary of $62,450 in 2008 compared to LVNs who earned $39,030, according to the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics.
