The Jesuits founded St. Xavier’s in 1860, and it is affiliated with Calcutta University. It is located in Calcutta, the business capital of Eastern India. St. Xavier's program espouses the core values of intellectual depth, leadership skills and social responsibility. An emphasis is placed on acquiring business English and exposure to information technology. To gain admission to the BBA program, students must be admitted to the honors program, which means that students must get a minimum of 45 percent marks in each subject in the Plus-II council examination. The program is completed in 3 years, with 27 compulsory courses and four specialization papers.

Loyola College is located Chennai, which is on the Southern Coast near the Bay of Bengali. The Jesuits established the college in 1925. Although the college is expressly devoted to the education Catholics, it admits students irrespective of caste and creed. Today over 10,000 students attend Loyola College. The college is constructing a separate building for the School of Business Studies and the BBA program will soon be moving to this new facility. All BBA classes occur from 1:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. This program is only for students who do not receive financial aid from the government.

Christ University was established in Bangalore in 1969. Although Christ University is a minority Christian institution, it has very secular in outlook. Students of all castes, religions, creeds and languages are encouraged to learn at the university. Their BBA program focuses on “equipping each individual with conceptual, analytical, communication skills and healthy attitudes to ensure for excellent performance and committed service.” The BBA program offers students two options for completion. Students may study all three years at Christ University, or they may complete the first two years at Christ University, then transfer to a foreign university to complete an undergraduate degree there. Students can finish their degree abroad in the United States, the United Kingdom, Australia or France. The curriculum of the program was designed using international business school standards.
