• The School of Technology and Design at City Tech, part of the City University of New York system, provides training in engineering design and media technologies. The Department of Systems Technology offers three degree programs in computer engineering and interdisciplinary courses for students majoring in other fields. The Bachelor of Technology program in computer systems covers topics in systems analysis and design, programming and mainframe operating systems. In addition to core courses in computer technology, students must take elective studies such as English composition, writing, psychology and social science.

• The Charles W. Davidson College of Engineering at San Jose State University provides a variety of undergraduate and graduate engineering programs including aviation technology, chemical and materials engineering, electrical engineering and industrial engineering. The department of computer engineering is one of the largest disciplines at the university. Students can major in bachelor’s or master’s degree programs in computer engineering or software engineering.
