Owens Community College has numerous campuses throughout Ohio, and provides associate certificate and professional development courses in over 130 different fields of study. Degree programs include fine and performing arts, natural science technologies, business, information systems and public safety. The athletics program at Owens Community College is comprised of basketball, golf, soccer, softball, volleyball and cheerleading. The athletic division also participates in sports events, such as the women's club soccer program, youth basketball training camps and academic conferences. Students from the athletic program have received numerous awards and recognition for academic achievement. Over 3000 students were listed in the college's honors list for achieving a grade point average of 3.5 or higher during the spring semester 2010.

Based in Sugar Grove Illinois, Waubonsee Community College provides traditional classroom and distance learning degree and certificate courses in academic disciplines, such as business and information systems, communications and library services, social science, and humanities and fine arts. The college also provides study abroad programs. The American Association of Community Colleges (AACC) recognized Waubonsee Community College for its academic rigor, placing it in the upper five percent of all community colleges. The men's and women's athletics teams at Scottsdale Community College participate in 8 sports, including football, soccer, basketball and baseball. The program is designed to train student athletes in competitive sports and the school is a member of the National Junior College Athletic Association (NJCAA). With over 200 athletes, the program has a high success rate in tournaments, like tennis, cross-country, golf and basketball. According to the college's website, the men's golf team is ranked among the top five teams nationally. The college is equipped with state-of-the-art training facilities, including gyms, tennis courts, and football and basketball fields. The athletic department also provides opportunities for athletes to volunteer as sports-training interns.
