Chrysler sponsors the College Automotive Program (CAP) at colleges and universities across America. Chrysler provides physical and monetary support to the schools to ensure cutting-edge automotive technician training.
College students enrolled in the CAP program carry a full course load learning the skills needed to service Dodge, Chrysler and Jeep products. According to Chrysler, paid internships inside Dodge and Chrysler dealerships provide the students with hands-on experience and the chance to earn an income.
Employees of Chrysler Corporation and members of the UAW are eligible for career advancement and skills training at the UAW Chrysler Training Center in Detroit, Michigan. Workers come to the center from Chrysler plants all over the country and some of the course work provides transferable college credit.
