Invest in a calendar, PDA, or some other time management device. Plot out your days, so that you always know what you should be doing. Break days into blocks -- studying, socializing, sleeping and classroom or clinical hours.
Remember your personal health. Nothing can sideline your education faster than missing a week due to injury or sickness. Maintain a healthy diet and get regular exercise, so that your body will always be prepared for the challenges ahead.
Find a classmate that is as stressed as you are. You are not the only person experiencing the stress and fear of a challenging curriculum. Spending time with a study buddy can help you relax and improve your study habits.
Commit to your study time and do not get distracted. If you allocated two hours per day for studying, make sure you spend that time studying, and not browsing the web or taking a nap.
Ask your teachers for help. If you feel overwhelmed, your instructors can help. It is far better to go to a teacher when you first start having problems, than once you are already in a deep academic hole.
