OTD Distance Learning Programs

According to the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics, employment opportunities in the occupational therapy field are expected to grow by 26 percent between 2008 and 2018, a "much faster than average" rate. Schools offering distance learning degree programs allow students to continue their careers while working toward a degree by utilizing a combination of online, print and video resources to create a flexible learning environment. Obtaining a doctoral degree in Occupational Therapy can help advance your career, as a master's degree or higher is generally required for even entry-level jobs, and many states require continuing education in order to maintain licensure.
