The University of Wisconsin's online engineering program offers distance degrees in the following six disciplines: engineering controls, engine systems, engineering management, polymer engineering and science, power engineering, and professional practice.
Distance learning courses are taught by the same faculty who teach on-campus students. Lectures are delivered on campus in the classroom, recorded for distance learners, and posted to the university's online learning platform. Students view the courses whenever they choose, which provides a high degree of scheduling flexibility. However, students must be sure to keep up with the on-campus schedule of assignments.
