• The College of Engineering at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign offers a variety of undergraduate and graduate degree programs. As of 2009, the college had about 6,500 undergraduates and 2,700 graduate students. • The University of Michigan at Ann Arbor College of Engineering contains 14 academic departments which span a wide variety of fields, including aerospace, biomedical, chemical, civil and environmental, electrical, industrial, mechanical, marine and nuclear engineering as well as naval architecture, materials science, atmospheric, oceanic and space sciences and interdisciplinary engineering.
