Fully Accredited Online Teaching Degrees

If you want to become a teacher, achieving that goal is not difficult, especially with the availability of certified online degrees. Those degrees are particularly helpful for people working full time and those who live far from a campus. The National Council of Higher Education governs the certification process for online colleges and determines the criteria for acceptance. Six regional agencies award the accreditation to colleges under their jurisdiction. Accreditation is based upon whether the colleges are teaching up-to-date material and whether the methods meet requirements in curriculum, qualified instructors and student performance. The five schools listed below are all fully accredited.
  1. University of Phoenix

    • Phoenix University, a pioneer in online degree programs, offers a Bachelor of Arts degree for elementary school teaching and a Master of Arts for education curriculum. However, not all of the classes are available online.
