Online PTA Schools

A physical therapy assistant (PTA) supports physical therapists, helping administer treatment and setting up exercises for patients. To become a PTA, you must earn a two-year associate degree, studying subjects such as anatomy, physiology, rehabilitation and biomechanics. Some colleges offer this degree online, but you will need to complete hands-on clinical work and any certification exams at a location arranged by the college. Make sure your online program is accredited by the American Physical Therapy Association.
