Pharmacy Technician Online Schools

Pharmacy technicians assist pharmacists in dispensing medicine and provide customer service. They also take and update patient health and insurance information, and contact insurance companies for prescription payment claims. According to the Bureau of Labor Statistics, while there are no standard training requirements to work as a pharmacy technician, employers prefer technicians to complete formal training and be certified. Pharmacy technician schools are accessible online. Online students can learn on a self-paced schedule and have 24-hour access to course materials and tutorials. Instructors are available via email, phone and online chatting.
