There is a major demand for nurses in the healthcare industry. Graduating with a nursing degree can lead to many full-time and part-time career opportunities. The Bureau of Labor Statistics reported that the largest healthcare occupation is fo registered nurses. Nursing degree programs can last two to four years. Graduates must meet the educational institution's requirements and minimum standards.
