Sanford-Brown College specializes in training people in various health care fields at all of its campuses across the U.S. At the Dallas campus, there are six different areas of study available--Cardiovascular Technology, Diagnostic Medical Sonography, Medical Assistant, Medical Billing and Coding, Pharmacy Technician, and Surgical Technology. Sanford-Brown College Dallas is accredited by the Accrediting Council for Independent Colleges and Schools. These programs offer students either a certificate enabling them to work in the field or an associate's degree in Applied Science for that program. Graduates are then able to begin careers in their field of study, or to continue their education in a bachelor's degree program at another school.

Texas A&M Health Science Center is a teaching hospital comprised of seven different academic programs, with five of them being located in the Dallas area. These schools are the Baylor College of Dentistry, College of Medicine, College of Nursing, Graduate School of Biomedical Sciences, and School of Rural Public Health. Students can enroll in programs such as Internal Medicine, Dentistry, and Environmental and Occupational Health. The Health Science Center offers bachelor's, master's and doctoral degrees in various fields and is accredited by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools.

In addition to being a research facility for established medical professionals, UT Southwestern Medical Center offers education to people who wish to enter into the health care field. There are three different schools at the campus, consisting of the Medical School, Graduate School of Biomedical Sciences, and School of Health Professions. The schools offer a wide array of medical training in fields like Clinical Nutrition, Cancer Biology, and Plastic Surgery. Students can earn bachelor's, master's and Ph.D. degrees at UT Southwestern, all while working under some of Texas's best medical professionals. The school also has residencies and fellowships available.
