Schools in Washington State to Be an Ultrasound Tech

Ultrasound technicians often work in obstetrics and monitor women during their pregnancies. These technicians also diagnose patients with heart conditions or those suffering from obstructions in the stomach and digestive tract. At least three Washington schools offer ultrasound technician training. These schools have partnerships with Washington health care facilities. Students can enter the job market in two to four years, and earn general degrees or specialize in particular ultrasound fields.
