List of Medical Universities in England

In England, medicine is usually studied in a university department. Universities that offer medical courses can be found in most English regions. You don't need a bachelor's degree to study medicine in the U.K. However, competition for places is tough, and you do need high grades. Chemistry, mathematics and other science subjects are the most desirable. Most courses last a minimum of five years, followed by two years premedical training in a hospital or medical facility.
