New York Chiropractic College, located in Seneca, offers a nationally renowned doctor of chiropractic program. The chiropractic degree program at Life Chiropractic College West, located in the San Francisco Bay Area, trains students in contemporary chiropractic methods and modern diagnostic technology. Coursework and labwork include embryology, peripheral neuroanatomy, basic nutrition and biochemistry. Students are trained in and required to demonstrate knowledge of the anatomy of all human bones and their relationship to muscles and nerves. The program concludes with an internship residency program at the college's on-site clinic, The Institute for Advanced Care in Chiropractic.

The Logan College of Chiropractic doctoral program mixes components of a basic chiropractic foundation with an in-depth survey of clinical sciences, such as gross anatomy, cell biology and spinal anatomy. While a previous degree is not required to enroll, applicants must have completed 90 hours of chiropractic-related coursework for consideration. Students at the Chesterfield, Missouri school learn soft-tissue and upper cervical techniques as well as the Gonstead/Graston method. Extensive business seminars provide students with the skills necessary to start a business in chiropractic, including patient recruitment methods.
