The Adventist College of Nursing offers two different programs, both certified by the Board of Nursing Malaysia and MQA the Ministry of Education. One is a three-year diploma in nursing while the other is a two-year certification in assistant nursing. The full nursing program starts each July, with a broad curriculum including behavioral and social sciences, health sciences, nursing sciences and practices, research, religion and professional management. The assistant program starts each January and covers some of the same areas. Students learn theory and get hands-on training in a clinical environment, preparing them for the Board of Nursing Malaysia's licensure examination. Applicants must be 18 or older, in good physical and mental health, and for the three-year program, have a proficiency in English.

The Hospital Fatimah School of Nursing is a private institution offering a 24-month certificate program for assistant nurses. The highly selective admissions department accepts up to 20 students per semester and has recorded a 100 percent graduation rate since the school's inception in 1994. The coursework combines classroom theory and analysis along with hands-on experience in a clinical environment. Graduates are qualified to serve as a supplement to state registered nurses in a variety of environments, including hospitals, nursing homes and private practices. Candidates must be between 18 and 28, meet academic standards in Bahasa Malaysia, English, science and mathematics, submit a resume and take part in an interview. Those accepted may rent on-campus hostel facilities.

The Pantai College of Nursing & Health Science features a full-time, three-year diploma program in nursing, preparing graduates for work as state-registered nurses. Any student between 18 and 25 who has completed work in a secondary school and has received a pass in SPM English (the Malaysian Certificate of Education) is eligible to apply. The curriculum gives equal focus to behavioral, nursing and health sciences, providing instruction in the necessary terminology, methodology and medical information as well as proper caretaking techniques. Clinical experience is achieved at both Pantai hospitals and other approved government health-care facilities. The school is accredited by the Ministry of Health, Ministry of Higher Education and the Nursing Board of Malaysia. Semesters begin in January, July and October.
