Freie Universität Berlin, Department of Veterinary Medicine offers an undergraduate degree in veterinary medicine. A state exam is required to practice as a veterinarian. The school has three locations in the city of Berlin. In addition, the University has five clinics including Equine Clinic, Institute of Poultry Diseases, Ruminant and Swine Clinic, Animal Reproduction Clinic and a Small Animal Clinic.

Utrecht University, Faculty of Veterinary Medicine in the Netherlands offers a Bachelor's of Veterinary Medicine program that is accredited by the Dutch Flemish Accreditation Organisation as well as the American Veterinary Medical Association. Utrecht has three clinics: one for companion animals, one for equines and an ambulatory clinic for farm animals.

University College Dublin offers a Bachelor of Veterinary Medicine (MVB) program. The final part of the degree includes clinical rotations in areas such as Surgery, Diagnostic Imaging, Anaesthesiology, Emergency Medicine, Clinical Reproduction, Herd Health and Pathology. The school also features a University Veterinary Hospital that is used for clinical experience and research. Research is being done in many areas including herd health and disease control.

University of Veterinary Medicine and Pharmacy in Košice offers two degree programs for a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine. For individuals with a bachelor's degree, a four-year program is available and for individuals who have only graduated from secondary school, a six-year program is offered. This is the only veterinary school in the Slovak Republic and course work is taught in English.

The European School for Advanced Veterinary Studies (ESAVS) is located in Luxembourg and is a nonprofit institution. The school provides continuing education for veterinarians in Europe. The schools offers training and workshops that last from 5 to 10 days. A variety of programs are available including dentistry, exotic pets, neurology, oncology, surgery and reproduction.
