The School of Medicine at Saba University is recognized by the World Health Organization (WHO) and the Foundation for the Advancement of International Medical Education and Research (FAIMER). The basic science component of the medical program is conducted in a high tech teaching facility throughout five consecutive semesters. Since students attend during the summer semester, they are ready for the second segment of the medical program in just 20 months. The remaining semesters are spent in various clinical rotations in hospitals throughout the United States and Canada. To be considered for admission to this program, applicants from Canada must have a minimum of three years of undergraduate studies and written the Medical College Admission Test (MCAT). Tuition at Saba University is less than $10,000 per semester.

The four-year Doctor of Medicine program at St. George's University is divided into two components. The basic science education is conducted at the multimillion dollar True Blue Campus, equipped with modern laboratories, libraries and learning resources. Students enrolled in the program may alternatively elect to complete the first year of the medical program at Northumbria University in the United Kingdom. Following the basic sciences, the clinical semesters take place in the school's clinical centers and other hospitals in the United States and the United Kingdom. Applicants from Canada must have obtained an undergraduate degree that includes a number of prerequisite courses, including biology, chemistry, physics and mathematics. MCAT scores must be submitted with the application. The cost of tuition varies between $21,552 and $29,481 per semester.

Ross University School of Medicine is located in Dominica, where it has been educating medical students for more than 30 years. The first four academic semesters of the program take place on campus, followed by a semester at the school's clinical education center in Miami, Florida. The remaining semesters are spent in clinical rotations at affiliated teaching hospitals throughout the United States. Prospective student must complete a minimum of 90 credits of undergraduate work and submit an application with MCAT scores. While 90 credits is acceptable, 120 credits is recommended. The average cost of tuition is $15,000 per semester.
