Washington University in Saint Louis isn't the most well known of universities in terms of fame, but the university makes up for it by its committed faculty. Washington University was established in 1853, and it sits on a 169-acre campus near the historic Forest Park. The medical school itself almost occupies the same amount of territory.

You can find UCLA in Westwood Village, a mere 5 miles from the Pacific Ocean on a campus spanning 419 acres. UCLA is one of the better choices of schools for those on the west coast of the United States. Every year it ranks at the top in terms of received applications.
Some of the medical school-related undergraduate programs include molecular biology, microbiology, immunology and genetics. Research and clinical internship opportunities are abundant. The UCLA hospital system consists of three hospitals, which are Neuropsychiatric Hospital, UCLA Medical Center Westwood and Santa Monica Hospital.
