A nuclear pharmacy program teaches students about working with nuclear materials in a pharmaceutical environment. Students learn how to prepare, use and dispose of radiopharmaceuticals in a safe manner. A nuclear pharmacist has to be certified to work with a variety of dangerous materials. Only a few colleges offer this program. Prerequisites vary by program.
