Each year U.S. News and World Report Magazine has ranked the top law schools in the country using a proprietary ranking system. The current data is for the 2008-2009 school year, except for employment upon graduation information, which is for the 2007 school year.

    • Located in New Haven, Connecticut, Yale University ranks number one on the U.S. News and World Report list. Yale accumulated the highest score of 100 out of 100 points. As of 2007, 96.4 percent of Yale law students were employed upon graduation.
