How to Transfer Engineering Math Credits to FAU Graduate School

Florida Atlantic University's Graduate School accepts transfer students from any college based on each student's grade point average. If you want to apply to graduate school at FAU and you already have engineering math credits from your current education facility you can transfer them to FAU and apply them toward your graduate degree. However, FAU does not accept transfer credits for all classes from all schools; there are exceptions. Your credits are taken from your college transcripts and applied toward your degree at FAU once FAU receives your transcript, which provides the school with your academic credit information.

Instructions

    • 1

Schedule a meeting with your academic adviser at your current university to speak with her regarding your engineering math credits and whether or not they can be transferred to FAU. Once you confirm your credits are transferable you must provide FAU with your transcripts along with your admission application.

    • 2

Go to the office of the registrar at your current college to request a copy of your transcripts. Provide the registrar's office with the information regarding your transfer. The school will mail your transcripts to FAU on your behalf. All of your credits are listed on your transcript; FAU chooses which ones to accept when they accept you as a student.

Look for your acceptance letter in the mail. Your admission application is not considered complete until FAU receives your transcripts from your current school. Once you are accepted as a graduate student at FAU your credits are transferred.
