In the 2010-2011 school year, the application fee for Alabama A & M University is $25.
Its application deadlines for U.S. citizens and residents is June 1 for the fall, November 1 for the spring and April 1 for the summer.
Application deadlines for international students are May 15 for fall, October 1 for spring and March 15 for summer.
Freshman applicants are required to have their high school transcripts sent directly by the high school. You must also take either the Scholastic Aptitude Test (SAT) or American College Test (ACT) and have your scores sent to AAMU. Their ACT code is 0002 and SAT code is 1003.
Transfer students must be in good standing with their previous university and have a 2.0 grade point average or higher. You must also not be on probation or suspension with your current school.
Transfer students must send all official transcripts from previous colleges or universities. All transcripts, except for the current college or university the student is attending, must be sent by the application deadline date.
Graduate students considering AAMU must have finished their undergraduate program with a 2.5 grade point average or higher from a regionally accredited college or university. Most programs also require a minimum score of 400 in verbal and 400 in quantitative on the the GRE. Some programs may require higher scores, please contact those programs directly.
MBA students must have a minimum score of 350 on their GMAT.
