There are literally hundreds of universities and colleges across the country that offer Army ROTC. To find a school offering the program, either contact the military science department of the school you're interested in, or check the Army's website, which offers a complete directory of participating schools.
The requirements for joining an ROTC program are similar to those for joining the military. You must be between the ages of 17 to 26, meet the physical standards, have a high school diploma or GED with the minimum GPA of 2.5, have a minimum SAT score of 950 or a minimum ACT score of 19, be an American citizen, and agree to accept a commission as an Army officer.
After you graduate and complete the ROTC program, you will be expected to serve a minimum of four years on active duty in the Army. However, there are exceptions made for those committed to the National Guard or Army Reserves that only require part-time service. Upon completing ROTC you will be commissioned as a second lieutenant.
For students looking for a way to pay for school, ROTC offers two-, three- and four-year scholarships.
