Located in the heart of Atlanta, Bauder College offers a number of academic programs centered around skills employers seek in college graduates. Bauder's academic programs include associate and bachelor degree programs in the fields of business, criminal justice, fashion design, and legal studies. Many programs offer externships for students to obtain on the job experience. In addition to its limited class size, Bauder also offers a diverse student body, faculty and staff who are highly trained and experienced, accelerated programs, and study tours for students who may be interested in studying in New York or overseas.
Brown Mackie College- Atlanta was established in 2003 as a private business school. Offering diploma and associate degrees in the fields of business, law, and allied health; Brown Mackie strives to prepare its students for work in a variety of professional industries. Academic programs at Brown Mackie are designed to work around its students schedules. For students juggling family and/or work, there is an option to take one course at a time. With a student body of 600, Brown Mackie also offers small classes with one-on-one attention.
A historically Black college, Carver Bible College was established in 1943 by Dr. Talmage and Grace Payne. Established out of a desire for a place to study the Bible in preparation for ministry, the vision of Carver Bible College is to educate and equip individuals to impact and impart change for Christ in nations around the world. Offering programs of study in biblical studies, theology, missions, music, pastoral studies and Christian education; the college is located near many of Atlanta's most historic sites including The Carter Presidential Center.
Ranked as the number one college for educating African-Americans, Morehouse college is a private, historically Black college for men. Established in 1867 as Augusta Institute, Morehouse offers various majors in the fields of math and science, humanities, social science, business administration and economics. In addition to its academic programs, Morehouse also implements service learning in an effort to encourage its students to become leaders in the community.
