Located in the area of Chicago known as "the Loop," the Harrington College of Design is a private institution offering degrees in Interior Design. The program focuses on using 2D design and digital photography to enhance a space's form and functionality. The school, formed in 1931 by Francis Harrington when she noticed an interest in Interior Design from area residents, is now nationally accredited by the Council for Independent Colleges. However, it's not regionally accredited, and credits may be difficult to transfer to area schools.
