The Jesse H. Jones Graduate School of Business at Rice University in Houston was established in 1974 through a gift from the titular businessman. Jesse H. Jones offers a group of traditional MBAs, an undergraduate business minor and two rare birds in the business field: a combined MBA/MD with the Baylor College of Medicine and a joint MBA/ME with the George R. Brown School of Engineering. In its 2009 rankings, the Economist named Jesse H. Jones the 22nd best business school in America, making it the highest-ranked business school in Texas.
