According to the architectural trade publication, DesignIntelligence, the University of Georgia's College of Environment and Design (CED) is a leader in the field of sustainable design education. In 2001, UGA combined its School of Ecology and School of Design to form CED, which is the largest landscape architecture school in the U.S. The college offers several degrees and certificates, including Bachelor of Landscape Architecture (BLA), Master of Landscape Architecture (MLA), Master of Historic Preservation (MHP) and Master of Environmental Planning (MEPD) degrees. A certificate in Environmental Ethics (EECP) is also available.
