Developmental Psychology Graduate Programs

Developmental psychology is the study of the human brain and body and the psychological changes that affect them over a person's lifetime. Developmental psychologists explore and examine how brain functioning, feelings and emotions change over time and whether the effect of living conditions, parenting and surroundings play a part in a person's psyche. Becoming a developmental psychologist requires many years of higher education, beginning with an undergraduate study of psychology and moving on to graduate level master's or doctorate degrees. Many schools throughout the United States offer graduate programs in developmental psychology.
