Southern Methodist University, in Dallas, has an MBA program that was ranked 49th nationally by U.S. News & World Report in 2010. SMU offers a full-time traditional MBA program along with two joint-degree options. Students can pursue the MBA in conjunction with a law degree (J.D.) and a master of arts degree. All students begin their studies as part of the general business education program. They can later declare up to two areas of specialization. Concentrations include accounting, strategy and entrepreneurship, marketing, management, finance and information technology and operations management.

UTD offers a traditional full-time MBA program, a part-time program for people who must balance work and family obligations, and an executive program for experienced business professionals. Executive MBA concentrations include a global management focus, health care management and project management. UTD also offers a joint master of science degree in engineering for students interested in engineering management. The school also offers a Ph.D. in international management studies and management sciences.

The Neeley School of Business at Texas Christian University (TCU) is the No. 94-ranked business program in the nation. Located in Fort Worth, TCU offers a full-time MBA along with an accelerated program that allows students to finish the degree in just 12 months. TCU also offers a professional and executive track along with a joint degree program for educators that allows students to receive both the MBA and the Doctor of Education (Ed.D.). Additional programs offered within the business school include master's degrees in international management and accounting.
