  1. California University of Pennsylvania

    • California University of Pennsylvania (CUP) is located in California, Pennsylvania, 30 miles south of Pittsburgh. CUP is a rural and diverse campus with programs in liberal arts, technology and sciences, and professional studies. As of 2010 there were approximately 9,000 undergraduate and graduate students attending CUP. Students can choose from over 150 undergraduate programs and almost 20 graduate programs as well as extracurricular activities. Some programs and courses are offered online.

    Slippery Rock University

    • Slippery Rock University (SRU) is located on 600 acres in Slippery Rock, Pennsylvania, approximately an hour north of Pittsburgh. SRU is a state-owned university that first opened in 1889 as a teaching education institution. In 2010, around 8,500 students were enrolled in SRU's undergraduate and graduate programs. Students can choose from hundreds of different majors in liberal arts and sciences including flexible online learning programs.

    University of Pittsburgh

    • The University of Pittsburgh's main campus is located in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania with four regional campuses in Johnstown, Greensburg, Titusville and Bradford. The college began as a tiny log cabin back in the late 1700s. Today, it is home to one of the world's most recognized university and research centers. Thousands of students are attracted to the university each year due to the college's cultural life and local attractions, such as museums, sports and health care. The University of Pittsburgh has 200 undergraduate and graduate degree programs to choose from, including law, medicine, nursing and business. Many classes are small, with fewer than 30 students.
