Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University is the only aviation college or university in the world accredited by the Commission on Colleges of the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools. Embry-Riddle, with campus locations in Daytona Beach, Florida and Prescott, Arizona, has an annual enrollment of around 34,000 students. The school offers undergraduate, graduate and doctoral degrees in 30 different programs. Embry-Riddle offers students in aeronautical engineering the chance to gain hands-on experience in its 93 different aircraft. Although it is much more than an aeronautical institution, the Georgia Institute of Technology (Georgia Tech) has seven of its undergraduate engineering programs ranked in the top five in the country by "U.S. News & World Report." Georgia Tech has an annual enrollment of approximately 20,000 students. The school offers four different bachelor's degrees, two master's degrees and one doctoral degree in aerospace engineering. Georgia Tech fields 17 men's and women's athletic teams that compete in 11 different sports in the Atlantic Coast Conference on the Division I level.
