At Arizona State University's Polytechnic campus, students are able to enroll in the Professional Golf Management program. Students of the program have the opportunity to earn a four-year business degree along with PGA certification. The program is monitored by PGA professionals and consists of three levels of PGA education curriculum.
Students will learn about golf course operations, turf grass management, sports psychology and more. The program provides access to a driving range, pro shop, PING Swing Analysis Lab and club-repair facility. Arizona State University also offers a Golf and Facilities Management degree program.

The Professional Golf Management program at Clemson University provides students with the academic background and training necessary to become a leader behind the scenes in the golf industry or a PGA professional. The program only accepts 20-25 students each year, which allows for personal attention and small class sizes.
Students of the program have access to a complete indoor practice facility, club-repair lab, Player Development Program and a variety of golf tournaments. Graduates of the program will receive a Bachelor of Science degree in Parks, Recreation and Tourism Management with a concentration in PGA Golf Management as well as a minor in Business Administration.

Ferris State University, located in Michigan, was the first university to offer a Professional Golf Management Program sanctioned by the PGA. The program accepts applicants on a highly competitive basis. Prospective students must meet both grade and golf handicap minimum requirements.
The program enables students to work toward earning a business degree with a major in marketing, which is typically combined with a minor or certificate in Club Management. Students can enjoy benefits including PGA Master Professional faculty members, student-only practice and training facilities along with a state-of-the-art learning laboratory.

The University of Nebraska at Lincoln combines the PGA Golf Management curriculum with the best parts of its nationally recognized business, hospitality management and turf science programs. The program offers students access to a state-of-the art golf simulation lab, FlightScope launch monitor with 3D Doppler golf radar, golf club repair and design teaching lab, as well as a golf course complete with an indoor practice facility.
Students will also have individual instruction from PGA teaching professionals to improve their playing ability. Students will receive a Bachelor of Science degree from the College of Agricultural Sciences and Natural Resources upon completion of the program.
