Colleges in Michigan for LD Students

The transition to college and the stresses of college-level work can be difficult for any student. Students with learning disabilities (LDs) may face additional challenges during this exciting yet often frightening time of change. Many colleges and universities in the state of Michigan have special programs in place to assist students with LDs, to highlight the students' strengths and ensure that their college careers are successful.
  1. Albion College

    • Albion College's Learning Support Center provides a number of services that may be useful for all students, including those with LDs. By discussing what would best suit the student's learning abilities, the Center can provide an individualized support plan for the student, to promote both academic and personal success at the school. Other offerings, such as peer tutoring and study skill tips, may also aid college students.
