Early Childhood Education Graduate Programs

Graduate programs in early childhood education prepare students to teach and care for infants and children up to age 8. Graduates of early childhood education master's degree programs typically pursue careers as preschool teachers, day care center administrators, elementary school teachers or child development researchers. When selecting an early childhood education graduate school, look for programs that are accredited by the National Council for Accreditation of Teacher Education, which works with the National Association for the Education of Young Children to prepare students and professionals to work with young children.
