Connecticut Baptist Bible Colleges

Finding a Baptist Bible college in Connecticut poses a challenge for prospective students who seek a higher education experience that ties in with Baptist faith principles. Underrepresented in New England compared to other parts of the United States, the Baptist denomination nonetheless has three colleges or seminaries devoted to educating future leaders and scholars in Connecticut. Prospective students in Connecticut seeking additional Baptist Bible college opportunities can turn to online programs offered by these faith-based colleges as well.
  1. Emmanuel Baptist Theological Seminary

    • Emmanuel Baptist Theological Seminary offers master's and doctoral programs in biblical studies, divinity, theology and ministry. The Baptist seminary, founded in 2000 by Emmanuel Baptist Church, is the only Baptist college offering graduate degrees in the state of Connecticut. The school's programs train future ministers, missionaries, teachers and lay persons for religion-based careers approached from a Baptist perspective.

Emmanuel Baptist Theological Seminary does not provide dormitories or apartments for students, so prospective students should factor off-campus housing and transportation costs into the overall cost of attendance.
