Goshen College offers a Master of Art in Environmental Education. This 11-month program consists of indoor and outdoor instruction, conferences and workshops, projects and hands-on teaching experience. Students will complete six core courses, which include courses such as practicum in environmental education, environmental issues and history and research methods and measurements.

Students who hold an undergraduate degree in either science or science education can pursue a Master of Science in Environmental Education at the Florida Institute of Technology. Students have the option of working towards their secondary school teaching certification while pursuing their master's degree. The institute offers the program both full-time and part-time with a thesis-option and non-these option.

Students at Nova Southeastern University can pursue a Masters of Science in Education degree with a specialization in environmental education through their online degree program. Students can begin the program in the fall, summer or winter term. Students will complete 12 credits per term. Graduation from the program requires completion of 36 credits; therefore, students can complete the program in 1 year or 3 "terms." Students will take courses such as teaching environmental concepts, education and society, and environment and society.
