Portland Community College has three campuses in the Portland area, the largest of which is the Sylvania Campus in southwest Portland, near Tigard and Lake Oswego. The Sylvania Campus has PCC's main library and performing arts center, and is home to the school's nursing and dental programs. The Rock Creek Campus, a 256-acre campus in Hillsboro's high-tech corridor, known as the Silicon Forest, about 12 miles west of downtown Portland. The Rock Creek Campus is surrounded by farms and wetlands, and is home to Portland Community College's veterinary, biology, landscape and building construction programs. The Cascade Campus in downtown Portland is PCC's smallest campus, and is home to a variety of job-training and college transfer courses.

Clackamas Community College's main campus is located in Oregon City, and the school also has a Harmony Campus in Milwaukie, Oregon, and a Wilsonville Campus, which holds classes and also serves as a training center for employees of Portland-area utility companies. Clackamas Community College offers arts programs, and its main campus features the Niemeyer Center for Communication Arts, the Art Center, the John Inskeep Environmental Learning Center and the YMCA Family Resource Center, as well as a community garden. CCC offers 80 career and technical programs, including short-term training sessions and two-year associate's degree programs, as well as transfer degrees.

Mount Hood Community College has three campuses—the main campus and the Bruning Center for Allied Health Education are both located in Gresham, 13.5 miles east of downtown Portland, and the Maywood Park Campus is located in Portland. Mount Hood Community College is known for its business programs, and offers 60 professional and technical programs and 70 different associate's degrees, certificate programs and university transfer options. MHCC's main campus is home to a planetarium and many athletic facilities, including the Mount Hood Aquatic Center, which has indoor and outdoor swimming pools that are open to students and house a variety of community activities and programs.
