Located in Boston, Massachusetts, the Massachusetts College of Art offers students in fashion design an opportunity to create unique pieces of clothing. Students are encouraged to find their own style through course work and studio time. Traditional design methodology is taught; so is computer design technology. Programs are also offered in theatrical costumes and accessorizing. Students are also required, as a senior project, to design their own line of clothing, providing them with real world experience. This blending of traditional, theoretical and real world training gives this school an edge over others.
